How to Bring Back Hibernation Mode in Windows 8

Many of the Windows users are having issues with the newer OS of Windows. This is just because the innovations and modifications that Microsoft added to Windows 8.
Definitely it would take time to get used to of it. One might be having hitch in using the power option in Windows 8. For using the power options you have to bring up the power menu by using charm menu with a swipe or alternatively you can use Win+C for the purpose and go to the settings options. You can directly go there by pressing Win + I. This will bring you three options including Sleep, Shut down and Restart, however you would find Hibernation mode to be missing. But you can bring it back. 
Have you noticed that actually the hibernation mode is replaced by sleep mode?  While you have to move away from your system for a short period of time you can let the system get into sleep mode and when you return back you will find everything right as you left. But in case your system lose power in sleep mode you will lose changes to the files you have made and not have saved. This may be the reason you prefer to have access to hibernation mode.Let’s see how can we bring the Hibernation option back in Windows 8.


Step 1:

For this first Press Win + I and click the Control Panel link, and then open Power Options.


Step 2:

Now click the ‘Choose what the power buttons do’ link to the left and then click ‘Change settings that are currently unavailable’.


Step 3:

You will see a list of options here. Scroll down through it and check mark the Hibernate box and click ‘Save changes’ button.
This is what you have to do, now the next time you bring up the power menu you will find the hibernation option to be there in the power menu. You can simply use it to take your system to hibernation mode.
